PUBG New State Release Date Confirmed - PUBG New State Release Date in India
PUBG: New State, the futuristic looking game set to expand the universe of PUBG has generated a lot of conversation. A couple of days ago, we thought the game's launch in India was imminent due to the support for the Hindi version spotted on the site.
The game is already ready for pre-registration on Google Play Store and App Store in many markets outside India. However, in our country the game does not appear in it, and it looks like it will remain that way for the time being. People at Sportskeeda spoke to a Krafton representative who confirmed that he has decided not to include pre-registration for PUBG: New State in India.
The actor said, "With Krafton doing everything in his power to prepare for the launch of a new PUBG app specially developed and maintained for India, he has decided not to include pre-registration for PUBG: New State in India." This clearly indicates that the company is focusing more on bringing PUBG Mobile back to India. Crafton is also said to be talking to the government for himself.
Another statement from Krafton says the publisher is awaiting the government's decision to plan their next move in India. "We are waiting for the Indian government to study and decide on our next plan with PUBG in the region."
This largely confirms that PUBG: New State will not be available in India, at least at launch. But at the same time, it gives us hopes that PUBG Mobile will be played in India again as developers and publishers are working on re-launching it in the country.
PUBG Mobile was banned in India in September last year. The government decided to remove hundreds of Chinese apps in the country which also included TikTok. All of these apps remain banned in the country with no indications of a positive response from the government. Krafton still has a lot of ground to cover before the game hits the stores again.
